Bringing a Card from the Bottom to the Top of the Deck

Hey everyone! I'm pretty new to card magic, and after seeing a bunch of tricks, I've been wanting to put together or create routines. But I've often found myself limited to just doing single tricks because I don't know a way to get a card from the bottom of the deck to the top. I've thought about palming, but I bet there's an easier way to do it. If anyone knows, I'd be super grateful!

You can use this shuffle (often called a bottom card control or bottom stock shuffle) to bring a card from the bottom to the top:

Hold the deck in your right hand, backs facing up.

With your right hand, "peel" off cards from the deck, or use your left thumb to "steal" small packets.

Continue until you have about 5 or 6 cards left in your right hand. Then, peel them off one by one. The card that was originally on the bottom will end up on top.

I hope I've explained that clearly. If this shuffle is new to you, searching for videos of a "bottom card control shuffle" or "bottom stock shuffle" should help clarify the explanation.

I hope this helps! All the best!

Yeah, that makes perfect sense. Thanks so much for the explanation!
